THE HAPPY BROWNIES OF HOLI

Friday, 10/03/2017

Hello Team Cravers!

Its festive season again, I love when festivities are around, the smell and the feel in the air is just so fresh and happy. Now that Holi is right around the corner, I always have a small get -together with my friends at home. If you have been following me for a while, you know I have a very strong bias for a sweet tooth.

So I decided to make Chocolate brownies for my friends and family. And it’s such a happy thought to bake them to perfection and have a wonderful Holi evening at home with my best friends, the perfect brownies and endless supply of assorted tea.

Now there’s one thought which has been haunting me for some time now. And now that I am finally out of that mind-stage, I thought I would share it with you, so that you get benefitted out of the advice as well.

So here’s what happened – while my cozy Holi party was in full swing last year, one of the attendees (a long-lost school friend) spotted a cockroach on one of the kitchen plates. Not just she really freaked out, I am sure it cast a little cloud of apprehension on the overall food-hygiene for the rest of the attendees too. Not to mention, I was really embarrassed – more so, because that I am the one who’s really over-concerned about the cleanliness of my kitchen and household always (especially after we upgraded to a fancy modular kitchen)

While I have been having nightmares and thinking of how to avoid a repeat of last year’s incidence, another friend actually explained me what had really done wrong and guess what- also a permanent solution.
So the problem is hidden cockroaches. Regular kitchen cleaning can harm them no way, because they hide in hard to reach places like inside the sink pipe, under the cylinder, under the fridge etc. Not just that, these deadly roaches also carry dangerous germs and bacteria that are known to spread diseases like Food Poisoning, Typhoid, Cholera, Diarrhoea, Dysentery and many stomach diseases. SCARY, isn’t it?

There is a solution however – and I vouch for it after having used myself. It’s LAL HIT from the trusted family of Godrej. LAL HIT is a specialist solution for exactly the problem of hidden roaches.. LAL HIT comes with its proprietary ‘Deep Reach Nozzle’ and kills even the hidden cockroaches and if you are someone who has a sensitive nose, you need not worry as this one will not trouble you, it has a fresh and subtle fragrance.

So while I said #NoToFoodPoisoning this HOLI onwards and embraced the monthly cleaning habit with LAL HIT, I would seriously want you to think more about this issue too and safeguard your home against this preventable danger.
